Omaha Sanatana Kendra (OSK) is a community-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit initiative based in Omaha, Nebraska, dedicated to preserving, promoting, and sharing the knowledge systems, values, arts, traditions, and philosophy of Sanatana Dharma through education, youth engagement, cultural programming, civic participation, and community service. OSK works to create accessible spaces where people of all backgrounds can learn about Indic traditions, classical arts, philosophy, ethics, yoga, language, storytelling, sciences, and civic responsibility.

Mallika Madduri
Mallika Madduri is an award-winning Bharatanatyam artist, choreographer, and cultural educator based in Omaha, Nebraska. She is the Founder of the Gurukulam Center for Indian Arts and a founding member of Omaha Sanatana Kendra with a passion for preserving and promoting Indian classical arts, Sanatana Dharma, and cultural education for future generations. A recipient of the Nebraska State Heritage Arts Award, Mallika has led numerous cultural, educational, and community initiatives that foster intercultural understanding and civic engagement through the arts.

A dynamic and visionary individual who brings innovative and educational ideas to engage youth in cultural and spiritual activities. Deeply rooted in Sanatana Dharma, she is passionate about connecting traditional wisdom with modern perspectives, including science and Vedic knowledge. As a software professional and dedicated volunteer, she excels in organizing events, building community engagement, and creating meaningful opportunities for younger generations to connect with their faith, culture, and heritage. Her creativity, leadership, and commitment to service make her an invaluable contributor to nonprofit and community organizations.
Prasanna Vedhagiri
Prasanna is our dedicated Shloka Guru who teaches children with immense love, patience, and passion. She has inspired many young minds through her engaging teaching style, beginning with sacred hymns like the Ganesha Pancharatnam and now guiding both children and adults in the study of the Bhagavad Gita. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and deep commitment to Sanatana Dharma make learning a joyful experience. Prasanna is highly driven in her service to Sanatana Kendra, continuously motivating families to connect with our timeless spiritual traditions and values.
